Photographers "subtract" while painters "add". The hardest part is to know how much to subtract. The true beauty of a simple leaf can only be seen when its seperated from the clutter around it. In a way it applies to many things in life.
One of the gratifying aspects of photography or any other form of art is learning to see beyond the obvious. Simplest form of shape, light or colour stimulates your senses.
Sometimes a simple rake leaning on a wall with a streak of grass stuck in its teeth is good enough to make you smile.
And on occasion you are inspired by clutter. The only rule to remember is that there are no rules.
